How to Steep Black Tea:

  1. Bring fresh water to a boil (200–212°F / 93–100°C).

  2. Use 1 teaspoon of black tea per 8 oz cup of water.

  3. Pour hot water over the tea.

  4. Steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on strength.

  5. Strain and enjoy (add milk, sugar, or honey if desired).
